Beast
Beast is Portland’s only daylight photo studio, co-working office, and event space all wrapped into one. Photographer Boone Rodriguez couldn’t find a space with natural light he loved. So he scratched his own itch and built the workspace of his dreams. We came along to help him create a brand strong enough to live up to its mighty name.

What we doParliament has worked with Boone professionally for years and when he decided to open his own studio, we were right there to help him nail down the brand. The name gave us a great starting point for all kinds of mystical, and mythological inspiration that we then incorporated into a clean, bold illustrative style.
We may have gotten a little carried away drawing up mythical beasts but it was so damn much fun.
Boone has been a good friend, co-conspirator, and go-to photographer for almost a decade now. No pressure, right?
It took a significant amount of white to get the studio looking so fresh and so clean.
